It will be interesting to see if they made it through this winter. Should be a very interesting spring!DC Tropicshttp://dctropics.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2430461288790146786.post-90456085410977079722015-03-13T22:42:02.636-04:002015-03-13T22:42:02.636-04:00Thanks, we are FINALLY getting some (slightly) war...Thanks, we are FINALLY getting some (slightly) warmer weather!DC Tropicshttp://dctropics.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2430461288790146786.post-76011655336112410682015-03-13T22:40:33.466-04:002015-03-13T22:40:33.466-04:00Thanks, I've been documenting my garden with p...Thanks, I've been documenting my garden with photos for several years, and it's fun to do these kinds of comparisons!DC Tropicshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18325534376342345900noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2430461288790146786.post-51133942780023533842015-03-08T13:47:18.539-04:002015-03-08T13:47:18.539-04:00It's got to end soon, and hopefully you'll...It's got to end soon, and hopefully you'll have a beautiful spring and summer as a sort of reward. Friday we woke up to nothing but cold temperatures. Here we are not worried about Trachycarpus, mine seems fine. There have been many Sabal palmetto planted about the area, especially at the oceanfront, and most survived last winter, though beaten and bruised. So I don't know if they will be able to stomach two bad winters in a row. Same goes for all of the marginal cycads we have planted at NBG. We caged them last winter and most survived, but not without complete defoliation. We will see what happens this spring.Leshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18281256160705697856noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2430461288790146786.post-49878058737018160432015-03-07T18:04:51.940-05:002015-03-07T18:04:51.940-05:00Nice to see the photos side by side showing the co...Nice to see the photos side by side showing the contrast between the seasons.
